Amy decided to start CrossFit 6 months after her son Lucas was born. During her pregnancy, she had gained 55 lbs and since it was her first, she believed everything people told her.
“You’re going to lose 30 lbs of water weight after you have this baby!” If that was true, then why did she look like her doctor forgot to take out another baby?
“You’ll be back in your normal clothes by the time you go back to work!” 8 weeks after giving birth to Lucas, she was just excited to be able to fit back into her maternity jeans on her first day back to work!
With no form of physical activity and still eating as if she was pregnant, shew as getting nowhere and that was when reality set in. She started Crossfit and the Paleo diet and in as short as four months, was back to her pre baby body. During her second pregnancy, she was able to do Crossfit, 4 to 5 days a week, up until 4 days before giving birth to her daughter Ellie.
She truly believes that being in better shape the second time made the entire pregnancy and labor much easier and shorter!
